JAMES THOMAS TAYLOR

3rd Grade NOW and THEN 35 years later.jp

James Thomas Taylor, known in some circles as Jimmie (and in even smaller circles, Jim-Bob), is a 3rd grade teacher in the tiny town of Towanda, Kansas. He saw one of his dreams come true in 2015, when his first children's book, MY MOMMY BURNT THE COOKIES, was published by Kraken Books, Ltd. It's a heartwarming story about the love between a mother and her son, and although it is no longer in print, he hopes to continue sharing his story with young people. Mr. Taylor was named "Primary Teacher of the Year" for Circle USD 375 in May of 2017, and displays his crystal apple proudly on his desk. He is a firm believer in tossing kindness around like confetti, and hopes to inspire people (young and old, alike) with his passion for living life out loud.
